Abstract
The purpose of this research is to understanding the communication between parents and their children when providing education about the negative impact of Mobile Legends games. The formulation of the problem contained in this study is how the communication between parents and children in providing education about the negative impact of the Mobile Legends game. The research method used is descriptive qualitative with in-depth interview data collection techniques. The subject in this study were four family members, including father, mother and four children who played the Mobile Legends game. The results of the study indicate that family communication scheme carried out between parents and children uses the conversation orientation and conformity orientation schemes. In the conversation orientation scheme, there are older people who are used to having conversations and are not used to having conversations. Parents provide education to their children while relaxing at home. Education described in children such as causing laziness, damaging eye health, and depression. Next is the conformity orientation scheme, which is that there are children who are obedient to their parents, they are children who are accustomed to hanging out and spending time with their parents. Then exposed to children who have a more individualistic nature so that it is more difficult to obey the advice given by their parents.
