Abstract

In planning a multi-storey building, planners are always required to plan a building that is safe and efficient, where the structure is expected to be able to withstand the loads on the building, and be able to withstand the effects of earthquake loads that can affect the behavior of the building structure. In order to achieve safety, efficiency, resistance to earthquakes, and fulfillment as a fully ductile structure, a special moment-bearing frame system (SRPMK) is used in planning the structure of a 9-story apartment building with 2 basements. The planning location is located in Surakarta, the planned building structure is an apartment building with a total of 11 floors with a height of 41 m, the earthquake load is designed using the response spectrum method, SAP2000 v.20 is used for structural analysis and modeling. Based on the results of the analysis and design of the apartment building, it is obtained that the main beam section is 300 x 550 mm, 250 x 400 mm joist, and 650 x 650 mm column. detailing requirements for each frame components.
