Abstract
Infrastructure development plays an important role for the country's economy. One of the efforts to increase economic growth can be done by improving or improving the quality of existing infrastructure. Good infrastructure will encourage economic mobility to be easier and more efficient so that revenues will increase. According to the PPP (Public Private Partnership) scheme, the infrastructure that is a priority to support economic growth is transportation, roads, drinking water, electricity, and so on. The purpose of this research is to find out the influence of infrastructure development on gdp of provinces in Indonesia. This type of research is quantitative research that uses secondary data. Then the subject of this study was 34 provinces in Indonesia with the period of 2016 to 2018 so that there were 102 observations. Data analysis techniques used are panel data regression analysis. The conclusion of this research is 1) road and electricity infrastructure positively affected the GDP Province in Indonesia; 2) Water infrastructure has no effect on the GDP Province in Indonesia. Then, based on the F test, the results obtained show that road variables, electricity, and water affected the GDP Province in Indonesia. Therefore, in order to increase the revenue at the local and national levels, the government shall strengthen the infrastructure development, especially on the road and electricity infrastructure that have been proven to have influences on GDP.
