Abstract

Person who acts non-compliant with the law will be sanctioned by the judiciary so that they becomes a prisoner in a Penitentiary (Rutan) then referred to as Warga Binaan Pemasyarakatan (WBP). Living daily activities in Rutan is a stressful phase of human life, WBP will certainly lead a much different life compared to the previous life. In this case resilience is very important when living life in Rutan in order to be able to solve all problems faced. One factor that can increase individual resilience is spirituality. The purpose of this study is to find out the relationship between spirituality and resilience in the Community Development Community in Rutan Class IIb Boyolali. The hypothesis by the researcher is that there is a positive relationship between spirituality and resilience of the Correctional Assistance in the Class IIb Detention Center, Boyolali. The subjects 2 of this study are 100 community correctional residents, both men and women in Rutan Class IIb Boyolali. The sample was determined using the Quota Sampling technique, which is a technique used for sampling by determining the number of subjects (quota) before conducting the research. The data analysis technique used in this research is parametric with the Pearson product moment correlation method. The result of analysis between the variable resilience and spirituality in pearson correlation obtained rxy value of 0.596 and Sig. (1-tailed) of 0.000 (p < 0.01) which means there is a positive relationship between spirituality and resilience in the community in Rutan Class IIb Boyolali so that the hypothesis in this study is accepted. The higher level of spirituality, the higher resilience of the community.
