Abstract
The purpose of this study was to determine how the influence of gross regional domestic product, human development index, and inflation on the level of employment opportunity in the Province of Central Java in 2017. The research method used was multiple linear regression analysis using the Ordinary Least Square (OLS) method. The results showed that the gross regional domestic product had a positive and significant effect, the human development index had a negative and significant effect on the level of employment opportunities in Central Java Province. Meanwhile, the inflation rate does not significantly influence employment opportunities in Central Java Province. The government should pay attention and make efforts to increase gross regional domestic product and the human development index, because these variables affect the level of employment opportunity in the Province of Central Java 2017.
