Abstract

This study aims to describe the learning patterns of Muhammadiyah University students who job part time. This research uses qualitative research with ethnographic design. The resource persons in this study were active students who job part time. The results of this study indicate that: 1) The learning pattern used by part-time students is an independent learning pattern because it can adjust the time available and does not depend on friends or tutors, so that time is more flexible and efficient. 2) The obstacles experienced by students who job part time are time management and health problems. Therefore, skills in managing time for study, study, work, and rest are needed by job students. 3) Students who job part time realize that the main task of a student realize study so they know what to prioritize but they doesn’t forget their responsibilities as part time jobs. In addition, students seem to be able to find the right solution for any obstacles encountered in the lecture process and jobs.
