Abstract

Nur Yahya Tri Santoso / A210160218, THE EFFECT OF STUDENT ACTIVITY IN THE CLASSROOM AND WORK BACKGROUND PARENTS ON THE LEARNING ACHIEVEMENT OF CLASS X ACCOUNTING STUDENTS OF SMKN 1 BANYUDONO. Fakultas Teacher Training and Education, Muhammadiyah University of Surakarta. February, 2021. The purpose of this study was to foretells the effect of student activeness in class and the work background of parents on student achievement. This research is a quantitative research. The population in this study were 72 students of SMKN 1 Banyudono in the academic year 2020/2021. The data analysis technique used multiple regression analysis, t test, F test, R2 test, relative contribution and effective contribution. The results of the regression analysis obtained Y = Y = 84.271 + 0.015 X1 + 0.047 X2. The conclusions obtained are (1) Student activeness in class has a positive effect on student achievement. (2) The work background of parents has a positive effect on student achievement. (3) The activeness of students in class and the work background of parents together have a positive effect on student achievement. Based on the simultaneous test (F), it is known that Fcount> Ftable is (10.398> 3.13) and the significant value Fcount is 0.000 <0.05 with a coefficient of determination (R2) of 0.315 indicating that the magnitude of the influence of student activeness in class and the background of parents' work on student learning achievement of 31.5.
