Abstract
Reflective thinking is a process of reviewing something that has happened and is a higher-order thinking ability. Reflective thought processes involve critical and creative thinking processes. This means that when the critical thinking process occurs, the creative thinking process will play a role in developing ideas from critical thinking and vice versa. This study will explain the thinking skills performed by students when working on problems about flat-sided space shapes. The subjects taken from this study were 3 students from SMP Negeri 1 Ngrampal, who each had high, medium, and low levels of mathematical thinking skills. The research data were obtained using the method of documentation, written tests, interviews, and field notes. From the research, the results obtained: (1) subjects with high mathematical abilities experienced a little difficulty but were able to work on the questions properly and correctly, (2) subjects with moderate mathematical abilities experienced a little difficulty and the writing was not in order but the answer was correct, (3) ) Subjects with low mathematical abilities experience difficulties and the tone of errors they make.
