Abstract

Covid 19, which is currently sweeping the world, has an impact that is felt by all groups, including students. Even though it is affected, students still provide assistance to people in need. This study aims to examine the relationship between gratitude and prosocial behavior in Muslim students who are affected by Covid 19. The subjects in this study were 216 Muslim students. The sampling technique used was purposive sampling. The type of research in this research is quantitative. The data collection tools used are scale of feel of gratitude and scale of prosocial behavior. The data analysis technique used in this study is the Pearson Moment Product analysis technique. The results of data analysis shows that total correlation coefficient of r = 0, 516 and the result of sign. (1 tailed) = 0, 000 (0 < 0, 05) which indicates that there is a very significant positive correlation between gratitude and prosocial behavior. This result explain that the proposed hypothesis is proven. So that it can be concluded that the higher the gratitude that is owned by muslim students who are affected by Covid 19, the greater their prosocial behavior.
