Abstract

Economic growth is still the main objective and an important indicator of the success of regional economic development. This study aims to determine the effect of government spending, investment, labor and education levels on economic growth in Central Java Province in 1997-2018. This type of research is descriptive quantitative. The data used were obtained from the official website of the Central Java Province (BPS) Central Java Province. The analytical method used is OLS (Ordinary Least Square) time series data. The results showed that Government and Labor Expenditure had a significant effect on economic growth in Central Java Province, while investment and education levels had no significant effect on economic growth in Central Java Province.
