Abstract
The background of this research is the problem of Islamic boarding schools in determining the curriculum that must be merged with the demands of the present era, or rather, it must be able to maintain it as a characteristic of Islamic boarding schools which in many cases are more able to actualize its existence amidst the demands of society. The purpose of this study is to describe the curriculum preparation process in the boarding school Muhammadiyah Manafi'ul 'Ulum, to describe the process of implementing curriculum management, and to determine the supporting and inhibiting factors in the implementation of curriculum management in the boarding school Muhammadiyah Manafi'ul ʻUlum. The results of this study indicate that: First, the characteristics of curriculum preparation at the Muhammadiyah Islamic Boarding School Manafi'ul 'Ulum belong to a good curriculum, because curriculum preparation is carried out jointly in a discussion forum or deliberation of all asatidz Pondok Pesantren. The preparation of this curriculum is also adjusted to the mission, goals, aspirations and hopes of the Islamic Boarding School. the characteristics of the management implementation of the Muhammadiyah Islamic Boarding School Management Board Manafi'ul 'Ulum are in accordance with the management function, namely the existence of planning, organizing, actuating or implementing and controlling or evaluating. So that the implementation of curriculum management at the Muhammadiyah Islamic Boarding School Manafi'ul 'Ulum can be said to be quite good even though there are many deficiencies in the evaluation section. Second: There are many important points in supporting factors for the implementation of the Muhammadiyah Manafi'ul 'Ulum Islamic Boarding School Curriculum Management which will be able to make a perfect curriculum system, with qualified human resources, burning enthusiasm, trust from parents, expectations from students, LP2M, The association of Muhammadiyah Islamic Boarding Schools and Donors so that implementation will be carried out according to plan and of course there will be very few obstacles faced in the Implementation of the Management of the Muhammadiyah Manafi'ul 'Ulum Islamic Boarding School Curriculum Management.
