Abstract

Sasmita, Dwi Aji A610140005. EFFECTIVENESS OF E-LEARNING BASED E-LEARNING BLOG LEARNING MEDIA BLOG INDONESIA IN MADRASAH TSANAWIYAH NEGERI 1 SURAKARTA. Thesis, Faculty of Teacher Training and Education, Muhammadiyah University of Surakarta. January 2021. This research was conducted to 1) determine student learning outcomes using e-learning-based blog media and 2) analyze the effectiveness of learning blog media on student learning outcomes. This research is an experimental study using a pretest-posttest control group design. The data collection technique used a questionnaire in the form of a learning outcome test. Before the analysis is carried out, first the validity test, reliability test and normality test are carried out. The results of this study indicate 1) The use of e-learning-based blog media can improve student learning outcomes. This is based on the lower pretest average knowledge score of 51.78 compared to the posttest average score of 78.43, an increase in the pretest and posttest knowledge scores of the experimental class with a difference of 26.65 or 51% higher. 2) Analysis of the use of blog media based on E-Learning is more effective in improving student learning outcomes on the material on the geological conditions of Indonesia and the location of Indonesia class VII in MTS Negeri 1 Surakarta. This can be seen through the calculation of the percentage increase in the average value of the pretest and posttest results in the control class and the experimental class. The control class has a percentage increase in the value of student learning outcomes by 26%, namely from the average pretest score of 57.18 to 71.87 in the average posttest score. Whereas the experimental class had a percentage increase in value of 51%, from the average pretest value of 51.78 to 78.43 on the average posttest score. Through the calculation of the percentage average value in the control and experimental class, there is a comparison of the value of 25% greater in the experimental class. So it can be concluded that the use of e-learning-based blog media is effective in increasing students' knowledge of the material on the geological conditions of Indonesia and the location of class VII Indonesia in MTS Negeri 1 Surakarta.
