Abstract

Education can provide knowledge and create positive attitudes about the causes, prevention and management of diease. In its implementation, education is carried out using teaching aids to facilitate understanding of our information for example using videos, flipcharts, leafleats etc. this literature review was carried out with the aim of examining articles related to the use of health promotion media in increasing public knowledge about hand washing. This research was conducted using a literature review with data sources in the form of five articles/journals obtained from google scholar, with the criteria for articles published between the last 10 years. The results of the five articles audio visual media is more interesting because it contains sound and image elements so that it really helps children improve the memory of messages that have been received.
