Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of leverage, liquidity, and sales growth on profitability in property and real estate companies listed on the Indonesian stock exchange. This research is a quantitative study using secondary data in the form of financial statements of companies listed on the Indonesian stock exchange for the 2017-2019 period. The technique used in sampling in this study was purposive sampling technique which resulted in 9 selected samples to be studied. Data analysis used is the classical assumption test and multiple linear regression analysis. The results showed that there was a positive and significant effect simultaneously of leverage, liquidity and sales growth on profitability in property and real estate companies listed on the Indonesian stock exchange for the 2017-2019 period. There is a partially positive and significant influence of liquidity and sales growth on profitability, while leverage has no effect on profitability in property and real estate companies listed on the Indonesian stock exchange for the 2017-2019 period.
