Abstract

Foreign direct investment is an alternative source of financing from abroad that helps development in Indonesia. This study aims to analyze how the influence of the exchange rate, infrastructure, inflation, and regional minimum wages in Indonesia from 1994 to 2018. This research was conducted using secondary data for the 1994-2018 period sourced from the World Bank and the Central Statistics Agency (BPS). The data analysis method used is the Error Correction Model (ECM). This study aims to see the significant effect of inflation, infrastructure, regional minimum wages and the exchange rate partially on direct investment in Indonesia. The results show that the variables of inflation, exchange rate and regional minimum wages have a significant and positive influence on FDI in Indonesia. Meanwhile, the infrastructure variable has no effect on FDI in Indonesia. The recommendation taken was to prioritize road repairs in order to accelerate economic activity and improve inflation and exchange rate stability
