Abstract

The purpose of this study is to analyze and test the influence of the variables of profitability, liquidity, asset structure, company size and sales growth on the capital structure of state-owned companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange in 2017-2019. This type of research is associative and descriptive. There are 14 companies sampled in the study. The sampling technique used was purposive sampling. This study uses secondary data that has passed the classical assumption test and is analyzed using multiple linear regression analysis assisted by Sofwear Spss 15.0. The results of this research and data analysis show that profitability, liquidity and asset structure have a negative and significant effect on capital structure, while company size and sales growth do not have a significant effect on capital structure in a negative direction.
