Abstract

Reconstruction is one of the methods used in investigations in the investigation process conducted by the police. Reconstruction is one of the tools judges in court. The method used in this research is sociological normative. Reconstruction has an important role in uncovering criminal acts at the Surakarta Police to describe the criminal acts that occurred and adjusting the testimony of witnesses and suspects to the actual events. This study aims to determine the role and implementation and constraints of reconstruction in the Surakarta Police Station used by public prosecutors to prove certain crimes and convince.
