Abstract

The purpose of this study was carried out: 1) to determine the influence of teacher professional competence on student learning outcomes in SD sub-district Kemuning. 2) to determine the influence between the level of student confidence on student learning outcomes in SD sub-district Kemuning. 3) to determine the influence between teacher professional competence and the level of student confidence on student learning outcomes in SD sub-district Kemuning. This type of research is quantitative Ex Post Facto. This research method used is multiple linear regression. The subjects of this study were all classroom teachers in SD sub-district Kemuning. Data collection techniques with a checklist questionnaire according to a predetermined Likert scale. Before the data were analyzed, the prerequisite test for data analysis was carried out, namely the normality test and the linearity test. Furthermore, the hypothesis test was carried out using simple linear regression, multiple linear regression, T test, F test, relative contribution (SR), and effective contribution (SE). The results showed that the value of tcount> ttable (2.074> 2.048) on the T test for the professional competence of teachers, (2.138> 2.048) on the T test for the level of student self-confidence, then the results for the value of Fcount> Ftable (7.544> 3.352) on the F test. It can be concluded that 1) there is an influence between the professional competence of teachers on student learning outcomes in SD sub-district Kemuning. 2) there is an influence between the level of student confidence on student learning outcomes in SD sub-district Kemuning. 3) there is an influence between the professional competence of teachers and the level of student confidence on student learning outcomes in SD sub-district Kemuning.
