Abstract
This study aims to: 1) To description of strengthening’s character of tolerance and responsibility in instilling the social attitudes of students at SD Negeri Klandungan 3; 2) To identify the obstacles faced by teachers in strengthening’s habituation; 3) To describe solutions and efforts. This study used descriptive qualitative design. Data collection techniques used documentation and interview. Technical data analysis used interactive analysis. The validity of the data used source and technique triangulation. The results of the study showed that: 1) Planning activities carried out by observation of students, coordination meetings, preparation and implementation program, supervision, and evaluation. The tolerance and responsibility attitudes that have not been applied by students are respect of the differences and have not carried out their duties properly. Affective assessment was used by observing the students’ attitudes, conducting assessments, and evaluations; 2) The obstacles faced are the student’s habits at home and in different schools. The teacher has already apply the tolerance character but some of parents do not care of them, so the breeding character is inconsistent; 3) Solutions that pursued are cooperation between teachers, committees, students, and parents through the beginning of lesson’s meeting and the application of social attitudes in daily life.
