Abstract

The purpose of this study is to investigate: (1) the effect of soft skills, creativity, and motivation on entrepreneurial intentions of accounting students in the class XI SMK Negeri 1 Pedan. (2) the effect of soft skills on entrepreneurial intentions of accounting students in the XI SMK Negeri 1 Pedan, (3) the effect of creativity on entrepreneurial intentions in class XI accounting students of SMK Negeri 1 Pedan, (4) the effect of motivation on entrepreneurial intentions of accounting students in the class XI SMK Negeri 1 Pedan. This study applies a quantitative approach with comparative causal research. A total of 106 students of class SMK Negeri 1 Pedan are the population in this study. Proportionate stratified random sampling technique is applied to take samples from 78 students using lottery method. The data analysis collection techniques using questionnaires and documentation. The analysis technique used is the multiple linier regression analysis. The regression analysis results linier obtained the regression line equation: Y = 7,966 + 0,275X1 + 0,267X2 + 0,319X3. The conclusion of this study are (1) there is an effect of soft skills on entrepreneurial intentions in class XI accounting students of SMK Negeri 1 Pedan. (2) there is an effect of creativity on entrepreneurial intentions in class XI accounting students of SMK Negeri 1 Pedan. (3) there is an effect of motivation on entrepreneurial intentions in class XI accounting students of SMK Negeri 1 Pedan. (4) there is an effect of soft skills, creativity, and motivation on entrepreneurial intentions in class XI accounting students of SMK Negeri 1 Pedan. Based on the simultaneous test (F), it was obtained ,4 = 11.430 > Ftable = 2.73 and the significance was 0.000 <0.05. The coefficient of determination (R2) is 0.317 or 31.7%, while the rest is effected by other variables which not examined heve. It is suggested to add other independent variables for future researchers.
