Abstract

This study aims to describe the use of Shopping with Calling in the business promotion of the Bayat Swalayan Syukur shop which includes how the use of Shopping with Calling in the promotion of the Bayat Swalayan Syukur shop business is carried out, supporting factors and inhibiting factors, and how to solve the inhibiting factors of using Shopping with Calling. Data collection techniques through: observation, interviews and documentation. The validity of the data used in the study used data triangulation. Data analysis techniques use interactive data analysis, namely data reduction, display data, and conclusion drawing/verification. The results showed that Shopping with Calling is an activity of electronic transactions through calls made by consumers without having to come to the store by prioritizing convenience, information, available products and services, cost and time efficiency through a modern device with various media such as computers, laptops, smartphones and others. The supporting factors lie in the facilities and infrastructure, social media and their distribution tools. The inhibiting factors for the use of the Shopping with Calling strategy are employee busyness, incomplete items available in the shop, and the location of the customer's house that is not suitable. Meanwhile, the solution to overcome this is by improving the facilities and infrastructure for both employees and the Shopping with Calling system, requiring employees to always respond quickly to customer orders.
