Abstract

This study analyzes Indonesian cocoa exports by the United States and the factors that influence it during the 2002-2018 period. This research is a quantitative research with a descriptive design. Time series regression analysis is used as a research analysis tool with Ordinary Least Square (OLS). The purpose of this study was to analyze the effect of United States GDP, Domestic Cocoa Prices, Foreign Cocoa Prices, Foreign Sugar Prices, and Foreign Soybean Oil Prices on Indonesian cocoa exports by the United States. Based on the estimation result, it shows that foreign cocoa prices have a positive and significant effect on Indonesian cocoa exports by the United States. And Domestic Cocoa Prices and Foreign Soybean Oil have a negative and significant effect on Indonesian cocoa exports. Then the GDP of the United States of America and Foreign Sugar Prices have a no effect.
