Abstract

This study analyzes Indonesia's exports with APEC members (Thailand, Singapore, Philippines, Malaysia, Japan, South Korea, China, Australia, the United States and Canada) as well as the factors that influence it during the 2010-2018 period. This research is a quantitative research with a descriptive design. Panel data regression analysis was used as a research analysis tool with the Fixed Effect Model (FEM). The purpose of this study is to analyze the effect of GDP of trading partners, Population, Exchange Rate, Quality of Port Infrastructure, and Container Port Traffic on the value of Indonesia's exports to countries in the APEC region through sea transportation modes. The estimation results show that the population has a positive and significant effect on the value of Indonesian exports through sea transportation. And the exchange rate and Container Port Traffic have a negative and significant effect on export value. Then the GDP of trading partners and the Quality of Port Infrastructure has a negative and insignificant effect.
