Abstract
UMKM Sreen Backup is a business unit that is engaged in manufacturing T-shirts, screen printing jackets, border shirts and zip hoodies. The problem faced in the screen drying process and drying time is quite long because it only relies on sunlight. The purpose of this study was to determine waste in the flow of the production process using motion studies and process activity mapping. By using the motion study method we can find out unnecessary movements in the production process and with process activity mapping we can find out the percentage of total production activities at MSMEs. From the results of this study it can be seen that the placement of materials and tools during production affects the production time for printing t-shirts, and the weather factor affects the length of time for screen drying, resulting in delays. is more than just waiting for the screen to dry.
