Abstract

The purpose of this research is to described: (1) planning supervision of education staff in State Senior High School 1 Karanganyar, (2) implementation supervision of education staff in State Senior High School 1 Karanganyar, (3) evaluation implementation supervision of education staff in State Senior High School 1 Karanganyar, (4) follow-up evaluation implementation supervision of education staff in State Senior High School 1 Karanganyar. The kind of research is using the qualitative research with a design research ethnography. Location this research in State Senior High School 1 Karanganyar. Data collection techniques is done with observation, depth interview, and documentation. Data analysis techniques conducted by grouping and select the data from research based on qualities the truth, then described and conclude the results to answer the existing problems. The result of this research is on the planning activities includes: (1) the formulation of legal basis, purpose, and indicators, (2) preparation programs supervision by the internal supervision, (3) targeting tool and schedule supervision education staff, (4) determination of the approach and a technique used, and (5) election and the determination of an instrument. An instrument supervision according to the tasks and functions of each education staff. On the implementation of activities includes: (1) exposure performance focused on the components instrument, (2) observation physical evidence done with visits, (3) confirmed and asked for clarification the performance, (4) do recording the results of supervision that have been undertaken in the form of supervision reports, (5) pass on the notes supervision. On the evaluation activities includes: (1) school principals have basic considerations about the implementation of supervision, (2) school principals examine the implementation of supervision that is effective in improving the performance, (3) school principals aware of difficulties and obstacles for education staff. On the follow-up activities includes: (1) making the repair program, (2) general coaching as form repair program, (3) carry out repair program in house training and invite speakers from outside school.
