Abstract
The research on TPQ Baiturrahmah in the village of Penambongan Purbalingga with a focus on the formation of the disciplinary character of queuing aims to describe what strategies the teacher has taken for the formation of disciplinary character in students at TPQ Baiturrahmah, Penambongan Purbalingga Village. In addition, it is also to identify the inhibiting factors that were found by the teacher when carrying out the process of forming disciplinary characters in the students at TPQ Baiturrahmah, Penambongan Purbalingga Village. This research was a field research (field resarch) which was conducted at TPQ Baiturrahmah, Penambongan Purbalingga Village. The data collection techniques used were interviews, observation and documentation related to the data and activities carried out at TPQ Baiturrahmah. This research approach uses a qualitative descriptive approach that begins with collecting data then presenting and concluding the data. The conclusion from the results of research at TPQ Baiturrahmah, Penambongan Purbalingga Village, the teacher carried out several strategies for cultivating disciplinary character, including teaching strategies carried out by the teacher, exemplary teachings by the teacher and also exemplary stories obtained from the Quran and Hadith, habituation taught to students such as wear neat clothes and arrive on time, give punishment if students violate orders or rules and alsoreward students who succeed in doing a good job. Inhibiting factors encountered were internal factors in the students who were often busy and busy when learning took place and also external factors, namely peer factors
