Abstract
The background of this research is to know the active learning method in learning fiqh class XI IPA 1 at SMA Muhammadiyah 2 Surakarta. The use of the right method and application of the correct method will maximize learning outcomes in students. In this study, we will find out whether the use of the active learning method in fiqh learning is effective or vice versa and the application of the active learning method in learning fiqh class XI IPA 1 at SMA Muhammadiyah 2 Surakarta. The formulation of the problem in this study are what are the active learning methods used in fiqh learning for class XI IPA 1 at SMA Muhammadiyah 2 Surakarta and how to apply the active learning method in learning fiqh class XI IPA 1 at SMA Muhammadiyah 2 Surakarta. The purpose of this study was to describe the active learning methods used in fiqh learning for class XI IPA 1 at SMA Muhammadiyah 2 Surakarta and to describe the application of the active learning method used in fiqh learning for class XI IPA 1 at SMA Muhammadiyah 2 Surakarta. This type of research is field research (field research). The approach used in this research is a phenomenological approach. The method of data collection was carried out by the method of observation, interviews, and documentation. The method of data analysis was done by deductive analysis. The data validity test was conducted by means of triangulation of sources and triangulation of methods. The result of this research is the learning of fiqh class XI IPA 1 at SMA Muhammadiyah 2 Surakarta using active learning method in the form of group discussion method, market place activity, and video critics. In its application, the active learning method is varied so that learning becomes more active and is assisted by available learning media and resources. With learning media, students become more interested and enthusiastic in learning. The active learning method can improve the learning outcomes of class XI IPA 1 students at SMA Muhammadiyah 2 Surakarta which is quite significant.
