Abstract

Along with the development of technology today, it makes it easier for everyone to be able to access or read novels, whether in book form or via the internet, including children. The content in reading books is very attractive to children because the contents are considered to be able to entertain the reader and can also represent someone's feelings. However, not all contents in reading novels are suitable or suitable for consumption by children, there are also many contents in the novel which contain elements of pornographic violence and harsh words which when read by children can cause moral damage to children who read, so in this case Legal protection for children must get excessive attention, because here children are positioned as consumers of novel reading books which basically have very few regulations governing legal protection for children from the contents of novel reading books.
