Abstract
The background of this research is that the people in Jetis village, Juwiring District, Klaten Regency are very diligent in performing worship and doing many activities related to religion such as praying in congregation, routine studies every Monday, Thursday and Sunday, and the prayer events that are followed. However, unfortunately, their children do not follow what their parents do routinely, which makes their children lazy to do the five daily prayers, and often forgets to do the prayers and must be ordered to do the prayers. . The formulation of the problem in this study is how parental guidance is related to the five daily prayers of children in Jetis Village, Juwiring District, Klaten Regency and what are the barriers of parents in parental guidance for the five daily prayers of children in Jetis Village, Juwiring District, Klaten Regency. The purpose of this study was to determine parental guidance on the five daily prayers of children in Jetis Village, Juwiring District, Klaten Regency and to determine the obstacles to parental guidance in the five daily prayer services for children in Jetis Village, Juwiring District, Klaten Regency. This type of research conducted in this research is field research (field research). The approach used in this research is a qualitative approach that produces descriptive data. The method of data collection was carried out by the method of observation, interview and documentation. The method of data analysis was done by deductive analysis. The data validity test was conducted by means of triangulation of sources and triangulation of methods. The result of this research is Parents have different ways of providing guidance for prayer services to their children, including giving advice, direction, warning and even punishing the child if they are still reluctant to pray.
