Abstract
ABSTRACT This research examines how the management of the Tafiẓ al-Quran class program and what factors are the supporters and obstacles in the management of the Taḥfiẓ class program at Al Abidin Islamic Junior High School. So that the aim is to explain the management of the taḥfiẓ class program that is implemented there and to identify the factors that are supporting and inhibiting the management of the program. This research is a type of field research with a phenomenological qualitative approach on the management of the taḥfiẓ class program at Al Abidin Islamic Junior High School. The data collection technique was done by means of interviews, documentation and observation. Data analysis starts from data collection, data reduction, data display, and deductive conclusions, namely from general to specific events. The results of this study resulted in the conclusion that the management of the taḥfiẓ class program at Al Abidin Islamic Junior High School was classified as systematic and neat. Starting from planning goals, time allocation, methods, targets, mutaba'ah sheets, manuals and assessments. Organizing is done by dividing tasks and responsibilities according to the teaching capacity. The implementation that has been prepared until the evaluation is in the form of practical, written and certification exams. The factors that support this program include ability, motivation, social environment and time to memorize. Then the inhibiting factors include less learning time, the focus of the Quran subject is lower than the non-Quran subject, the role of parents who do not motivate their children to memorize, signal constraints when depositing via video calls, the child has not held a cellphone and is still using his parents' cellphone when parents are still working karus waiting home to get a deposit, lazy to memorize when at home, parental supervision is not maximal because of work and children's abilities because there is still iqra.
