Abstract
This research aims to know bipolar disorder in All the Bright Placesnovel, describe characteristics and causes of bipolar disorder reflected in All the Bright Placesnovel, and explain the delivers of the author about the importance of awareness and care of people around in bipolar disorder and depression in All the Bright Placesnovel based on an individual bipolarist perspective. This research is qualitative research. The primary data is from All the Bright Placesnovel. The secondary data sources of this research are books, online journals, theses, researchpapers related to this research. The method of data collection is library research. In this research, the researcher has several conclusions. First, this study shows that the main character named Theodore Finch to experience bipolar disorder diagnosed that is manic and depressive period. Second, the researcher found the cause of bipolar disorder in the novel. Third, the researcher also found the moral value from the author that awareness and care of people around are very important to healing mental disorders, and prevention of bad things happened.
