Abstract

Natural disasters occur suddenly or through a proess that takes place slowly. Disaster can certainly cause critical in various aspects, so it is necessary to understand the response that must be done by the community to be important in community preparedness but in addition to the community understanding about preparedness needs to be known by children from an early age as well as students in school. Teachers have an important role to play in providing learning about disasters and disaster mitigation in geography subjects that can be delivered through online learning (online) and off-network (face-to-face) learning. This research aims to: (1) know how students learning achievement during online learning related to flood natural disaster mitigation materials, and (2) describe the implementation of teachers strategy to adjust online at SMA Batik 1 Surakarta. This research used case studies at SMA Batik 1 Surakarta, it choosen because the location that can be said to be active in the application of online learning and the location of schools in flood-prone zones. Data analysis techniques used were qualitative analysis techniques. The results showed that: (1) the results of students' achievements in the online learning process related to flood natural disaster mitigation materials have a good value, students understand about the material causes of natural disasters and understand about natural disaster mitigation in self-rescue in the event of a natural disaster flood, (2) the implementation of teachers in implementing online learning has a clear direction, teachers have good planning before pounced on online learning so as to have a good influence on students' achievement results during online learning related to the material natural disaster mitigation.
