Abstract

Agriculture in Indonesia is still in deficit, unable to support the food needs of the Indonesian people. The number of Indonesian farmers, which almost 1/3 of the population works as farmers, is experiencing a decline every year, with 2.7 million young farmers and 30.4 million old farmers. The issue of location as a place for agricultural activities to be carried out also has an impact on the surrounding environment. Experts are needed to improve the quality and quantity of farmers, increase agricultural products and save the environment. Therefore, the solution to overcome this problem is to build an agricultural education center embodied in an Environmental Friendly Agricultural College located in Sragen regency. The purpose of this design is Merancaang high school with superior education in the field of agriculture with environmental insight in Sragen Regency to support agricultural potential. in Sragen. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative method through observation, literature. The analysis was carried out and then obtained a Synthesis in the form of a high school design. Environmental Friendly Agricultural College in Sragen Regency provides 2 main disciplines, namely agriculture and animal husbandry. Some of the special facilities in the two disciplines include the provision of study rooms, halls, special indoor and outdoor laboratories, libraries, prayer rooms, and several other supporting rooms.
