Abstract
The garbage problem that occurs in Indonesia arises due to waste management activities that have not been carried out optimally by the community, one of them is from Laweyan Subdistrict where in daily waste management they still find difficulties and lack of concern for the environment from the community. The purpose of this study was to determine the level of knowledge and awareness of the people of Laweyan District regarding inorganic waste that can be recycled. The method used is a statistical calculation that seeks to determine the level of knowledge and level of public awareness about inorganic types of waste that can be reused. The results of this study are to find out the types of inorganic waste that can be reused or recycled and to know the level of knowledge and the level of public awareness of Laweyan sub-district.
