Abstract

The phenomenon of the use of foreign languages is now widely used in the social realm of coffee shops or cafes, one of the cafes that use foreign languages is the Coffedangan the mochi cafe located in Surakarta. This study aims (1). Knowing the use of foreign languages in the menu list at The Mochi Coffe'dangan cafe. (2.) Knowing the reasons for the Mochi Coffe'dangan cafe use foreign languages in the menu list. (3.) Knowing the language implementation foreigners on the menu list of Coffe'dangan restaurant The Mochi in the text learning procedure. The data analysis technique used the theory triangulation method, the results of the study showed 1. Forms of use of foreign languages in the menu list of the Mochi Coffedangan cafe, 2. Reasons for managers of Coffedangan cafes prefer to use foreign languages in the menu list. 3. Implement a foreign language on the coffee shop menu list of the Mochi using text learning procedures.
