Abstract

This study entitled "The Role of the Agriculture Sector Sub-Production of Mung Beans on Economic Development in Indonesia in 2013-2017". The dependent variable is in the form of production yield, while the independent variable is the area of harvested green beans, the number of agricultural labor, and the area of agricultural land use. The type of data used is panel data from 2013-2017. Data obtained from the official website of the Central Bureau of Statistics and the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Indonesia. The analytical method used is panel data regression analysis covering 34 provinces in Indonesia over a period of 5 years. The results of this study indicate that the Fixed Effect Model (FEM) is the best panel data regression model. To determine the effect of the independent variable on the dependent variable simultaneously using the F test and to determine the effect of the independent variable on the dependent variable partially using the t test. Based on the results of the analysis it was found that the Harvested Area and the Number of Workers had a significant effect on the Mung Bean Production Results. Meanwhile, the land use area has no significant effect on the green bean production yield
