Abstract
This study aims to determine how the role of mother's care in shaping youth religiosity in Ngadirejo Village, Mojogedang District, Karanganyar Regency. The formulation of the problems to be answered through this research are: (1) What is the role of mother's care in shaping youth religiosity in Ngadirejo Village, Mojogedang District, Karanganyar Regency? and (2) What are the supporting and inhibiting factors for the formation of youth religiosity in Ngadirejo Village, Mojogedang District, Karanganyar Regency? This research uses field research (field research) with a phenomenological approach. Data collection techniques using observation, interview, and documentation methods. The research findings show that (1) Mother Care in Ngadirejo Village, Mojogedang district, Karanganyar Regency takes the form of a free and democratic way. (2) The condition of youth religiosity in Ngadirejo Village, Mojogedang District, Karanganyar Regency, starting from akhidah, morals, and worship has been well embedded. (3) The role of mother's care in shaping adolescent religiosity in fostering adolescent adolescence is still not optimal, in terms of fostering child worship, it has begun to be well embedded even though there are also those whose prayers are not maximized, then in building morals it is near perfect. (4) The supporting factors that shape adolescent religiosity come from the family in supervising the child, and also on the child's wish. While the inhibiting factors are the limited knowledge of parents in matters of religion, less supportive social environment, and excessive use of information technology (cellphones & laptops). The mother's way of dealing with these obstacles is by giving advice, motivating children, giving directions, reprimanding, and giving punishment.
