Abstract

Corruption is a serious, organized crime that has created serious problems and threats, because it can endanger the security and security of the State. The success in eradicating corruption is also their debt to those who want. The crime of corruption is regulated in Law No. 28 of 1999 concerning Clean and Free State Administration from Corruption, Collusion and Nepotism in conjunction with Law No. 20 of 2001 concerning Amendments to Law Number 31 of 1999 concerning Corruption Crime. Due to the criminal act of corruption that is detrimental to the state, the main roles and duties of the Police of the Republic of Indonesia are regulated in Article 13 of Law Number 2 of 2002 concerning Police and Public Order. Data analysis using qualitative data analysis. In carrying out its duties, the Criminal Investigation Unit of the Sukoharjo Police always adheres to a written rule or procedure. In addition, a procedure that was not officially written was also carried out, but it was a secret procedure that had to be controlled by a detective. It should be noted that it is very secretive because in this case it is also a matter of domestic security, so organizations outside the country are not allowed to be further alert. In implementing it, there are no obstacles that hinder, but in every obstacle in implementing it, they can always be overcome properly. Guidance, supervision and improvement of the performance of the Police in general and the Criminal Investigation Unit in particular will continue to do their best, both by the leadership of the leadership and subordinates. This is done individually as well to improve the best services for the community and the state so that legal development and national development can be maximally achieved.
