Abstract
Indonesia is a region that is quite susceptible to landslides disaster. Pulung District of Ponorogo Regency, is one of the areas prone to landslides, part of the Pulung District is in the form of steep cliffs and hills with high enough rainfall, thus making this research area prone to landslides. This research has an objectives, namely 1) Determine the level of landslide vulnerability in Pulung District of Ponorogo Regency and 2) Analyze the regional factors that cause landslides in Pulung District of Ponorogo Regency. The method used in this research is a survey, using the stratified purposive sampling method technique to take a sample of each parameter used according to land units. Data collection methods other than survey methods also obtain primary and secondary data which are processed by scoring each parameter by analyzing scoring using a quantitative GIS approach based on each land unit and slope and determination of dominant region factor by taking the highest value in the high vulnerability class. The results of this study are the level of landslide susceptibility at the research location showing high. The high level of vulnerability is land unit V3-IV-LT with a score of 23 and the lowest level of vulnerability on land units V4-II-RK with total score 13. The highest percentage of landslide vulnerability distribution in the low class covering an area of 5714,88 ha or 36,49%, the medium distribution in the high class covering an area of 4792,25 ha or 33,79%, while the lowest distribution in the high class with an area of 3672,59 ha or 25,90%. Dominant area factors in level of vulnerability of this research location are land use and slope such as the use of residential lands, rice fields, moor, and steep to very steep slopes.
