Abstract

Depok District have been experiencing urban development which creates significant changes of land development/conversion and green areas reduction. Therefore, there needs to be structured and controlled managament to preserve the environment and ecosystem. Analysis of changes in open green space accessibility on RDTR is carried out to determine the current state of open green space utilisation and overview of the future. This study aims to determine the spatial pattern of changes in open green space in 2011 and 2018 and the level of sustainability of open green space to the Detailed Spatial Plan (RDTR) of Depok District, Sleman Regency. This research uses primary data analysis and field survey methods. Data collection techniques use purposive sampling. Analysis of the results of the study used a comparative descriptive method by comparing the spatial patterns of changes in the availability of green open space against the Spatial Detail Plan (RDTR). The results showed the changes in the availability of green open space (RTH) in Depok District in 2011 and 2018 amounted to 407.31 ha with 12 types of change patterns that are dominated by changes in the pattern of green open spaces of rice fields and yards. The pattern of change in the largest green open space in Depok District occurred in the pattern of changing the yard into a building with an area of 237.23 ha. Conformity class changes in green open space in Depok Subdistrict to RDTR space pattern obtained 3 conformity classes, appropriate class of 318.16 ha with details 138.13 ha in Maguwoharjo Village, 100.45 ha in Condongcatur Village and 79.58 ha in the Caturtunggal Village. Unrealized conformity class obtained an area of 49.45 ha and an inappropriate class obtained an area of 33.25 ha.
