Abstract

Abstrak Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan tingkat kecukupan zat besi, zink, dan vitamin A dengan status gizi anak balita di Desa Cangkol Kabupaten Sukoharjo. Penelitian bersifat observasional dengan rancangan cross sectional study. Jumlah sampel 59 anak balita di Desa Cangkol diambil secara proportional random sampling. Wawancara dilakukan kepada 59 responden menggunakan FFQ Semi Kuantitatif tiga bulan terakhir untuk mengetahui tingkat kecukupan zat besi, zink, dan vitamin A. Uji hubungan tingkat kecukupan zat besi, zink, dan vitamin A dengan status gizi anak balita menggunakan uji pearson product moment. Distribusi sampel berdasarkan tingkat kecukupan zat besi yang masuk dalam kategori kurang sebesar 45,8% dengan rata-rata kecukupan 90,05%, dan tingkat kecukupan zink yang masuk dalam kategori kurang sebesar 33,9% dengan rata-rata kecukupan sebesar 120,49%. Sementara tingkat kecukupan vitamin A anak balita kategori baik sebesar 100% dengan rata-rata kecukupan sebesar 167,72%. Status gizi anak balita menurut indeks BB/U yang masuk dalam kategori berat badan kurang sebesar 13,6%. Hasil uji pearson product moment menunjukkan terdapat hubungan tingkat kecukupan zat besi dan vitamin A dengan status gizi anak balita menurut indeks BB/U (p=0,019; p=0,002), dan tidak terdapat hubungan antara tingkat kecukupan zink dengan status gizi anak balita menurut indeks BB/U (p=0,061). Terdapat hubungan tingkat kecukupan zat besi dan vitamin A dengan status gizi anak balita menurut indeks BB/U dan tidak terdapat hubungan antara tingkat kecukupan zink dengan status gizi anak balita menurut indeks BB/U. Kata Kunci : kecukupan zat besi, kecukupan zink, vitamin A, status giziH A Abstract The aim of this research was to analyse the correlation between the adequacy level of iron, zinc, and vitamin A with nutritional status of children under five in Cangkol Village, Sukoharjo. This study was observational with cross-sectional study design. The number of samples was 59 children under five in Cangkol Village, taken by proportional random sampling. The interviews were conducted with 59 respondents using the Semi-Quantitative FFQ in the last three months to find out the consumption level of iron, zinc, and vitamin A. The correlation test of iron, zinc, and vitamin A level with nutritional status of children under five used the Pearson product moment test. The distribution of respondents based on the level of iron sufficiency included in the under category was 45,8% with average of adequacy level was 90,05%, and the zinc adequacy level in the under category was 33,9% with average of adequacy level was 120,49%. Meanwhile the adequacy level of vitamin A for children under five in the good category was 100% with average of adequacy level was 167,72%. There was a correlation between the adequacy level of iron and vitamin A with nutritional status of children under five according to weight for age index (p=0,019; p =0,002). There was no correlation between the zinc adequacy level and nutritional status of children under five according to weight for age index (p=0,061).
