Abstract

WhatsApp as a message exchange application is used by the Hijab Nabil Sabil Shop to send messages containing promotions regarding the products that the store has. This study aims to find out how the form of Promotion Mix is applied in the Muslim fashion business Toko Hijab Nabil Sabil in attracting new customers and retaining customers. This research focuses on strategies implemented by the Hijab Nabil Sabil Shop to obtain new customers and maintain them. The theory used in this research is Terense A. Shimp's Integrated Marketing Communication Strategy (Integrated Marketing Communication) by linking the marketing communication mix, including advertising, personal selling, sales promotion. Descriptive qualitative is used as a method in this study, purposive sampling is used as a method for determining the sample to be taken. An in-depth interview with the shop owner and observation and documentation from WhatsApp with permission from the shop owner. The validity of the data used is data triangulation. This study has the result that the closeness between seller and buyer is able to foster a desire to conduct transactions, advertising is done by utilizing the story feature in the WhatsApp application, personal selling is used by private message after the buyer or prospective buyer is interested in advertising on the WhatsApp story, sales promotion is applied by giving guarantees to several products sold with certain conditions.
