Abstract
The building is a construction consisting of an upper structure and a lower structure. The upper structure is a structure that is above the ground such as roofs, beams, columns, floor plates, while the lower structure is like a foundation that functions as building support and transmits the load of the upper building to the subsoil below. The construction of the Tegal Regency Hospital Building has a 7-story structure, using a pile foundation with a diameter variation of 0.5 m and 0.8 m. This study aims to determine the largest axial load received by the column, determine the value of the bearing capacity of the pile, determine the number of piles required, determine the need for reinforcement in the pile cap and pile. The results show that the 7th floor of the Tegal District Hospital has the largest axial load in the column of 6158.675 kN. The value of the bearing capacity of piles due to loading obtained from calculations using the US Army Corps method on clay soil and the Coyle & Castello method on sand soil for a 0.8 m pile diameter of 3744.854 kN, for a 0.5 m pile diameter of 1951, 793 kN. The number of piles needed to support the largest column load is 2 piles with a capacity of 6740,737 kN at a pile diameter of 0.8 m and a total of 4 piles with a capacity of 6245,738 kN at a pile diameter of 0.5 m. The results of the calculation of pile reinforcement used reinforcement 12-D22 for the main reinforcement with As = 4561.62 mm2, Ø16-45 for stirrup reinforcement at 0.8 m diameter, and 8-D22 for the main reinforcement with As = 3041.08 mm2, Ø16 -35 for stirrup reinforcement at 0.5 m pile diameter. The required reinforcement for the Pile Cap with a pile diameter of 0.8 m and 0.5 m in the x-direction is D22-100 for the main reinforcement and D16-100 for the dividing reinforcement and the same y-direction, namely D22-100 for the main reinforcement and D16 -100 for the reinforcing bars.
