Abstract
This study aims to determine the relationship between transformational leadership style and employee subjective well being. The hypothesis proposed is that there is a positive relationship between transformational leadership style and employee subjective well being. The population in this study were employees of PT Bank Jateng Surakarta totaling ± 180 employees with a sample of 126 people by using purposive sampling technique. The method used in this research is quantitative with measuring instruments in the form of a Transformational Leadership Style Scale and a Subjective Well Being Scale. The data analysis technique was carried out by analyzing the product moment using SPSS for 16 windows. Based on the results of data analysis, the rxy correlation coefficient of 0.781 and sig (2-tailed) of 0.000 (p ≤ 0.05) means that there is a relationship between transformational leadership style and subjective well being on employees, the level of suitability and comfort of the employees towards the current transformational leadership style for the employees of Bank Jateng, Surakarta, is high and the level of subjective well being for employees of Bank Jateng, Surakarta, is high.
