Abstract

This study aims to determine the business development of Tofu and Smoke through the Business Model Canvas and to find out what obstacles occur when developing a business through the Business Model Canvas. This qualitative descriptive study uses an ethnographic design. Conducted at Home Industry Yatmin Smoked Tofu, Tengklik Ploso Jumapolo Village. The research sources were the owner of Tofu Asap Home Industry, two employees and two Asap Tofu consumers. Data collection was carried out through interviews, observation and documentation. The validity of the data used source triangulation and confirmation, comparing information obtained through other information from other informants. The data analysis technique used interactive analysis. The results of this study indicate that Yatmin's Tofu Home Industry has used business development through the Business Model Canvas which already has 9 building blocks consisting of customer segments, value propositions, channels, customer relationships, revenue streams, key activities, key partnerships, cost structure. , and key resources. In developing the Tofu and Asap business through the Business Model Canvas, there are still several obstacles, the main ones being cost, time and human resources. Expansion of Key Resounces is required and additional human resources are needed to launch Key Partnership. Therefore, further research is needed using the Business Canvas Model method with a broader and in-depth discussion depending on the industry being studied.
