Abstract

The presence of Aedes sp larvae has an effect on the incidence of dengue hemorrhagic fever (DHF), this is because the presence of mosquito larvae greatly affects the Aedes sp mosquito population, the high population of Aedes sp mosquitoes will increase the risk of spreading dengue fever, it can increase the incidence of dengue hemorrhagic fever (DHF) . The purpose of this literature review is to evaluate several sources regarding the relationship between the presence of Aedes sp. Mosquito larvae and the incidence of dengue hemorrhagic fever (DHF). This article uses a literature review method with a database, google scholar and SINTA as a source of search for articles with the search keywords "The presence of larvae", "DHF incidence" and "The relationship between the presence of larvae and the incidence of DHF", the dependent variable inclusion criteria is the incidence of dengue hemorrhagic fever ( DHF), the independent variable is the presence of larvae, at least 2010 Indonesian language articles, at least national articles / journals with ISSN. There were 1,200 articles identified by Google Scholar and 5 that met the inclusion criteria. The results of the literature review of the five articles showed that there was a relationship between the presence of Aedes sp larvae with the incidence of DHF as many as 4 (80%) articles, while those that did not show a relationship were the presence of Aedes sp larvae with the incidence of DHF as many as 1 (20%) articles. Based on the results of observations from the five articles, it shows that there are several factors that influence the presence of larvae in the respondent's environment, namely, low levels of education so that a lack of knowledge about dengue prevention can lead to an increase in the incidence of dengue and the community in PSN / 3M practice is still lacking, where there are communities. those who still store water in the bucket / barrel are not closed. From the five articles that have been reviewed, it can be concluded that there is a relationship between the presence of Aedes sp larvae and the incidence of Dengue Hemorrhagic Fever (DHF).
