Abstract
DHF prevention which is considered the most effective is the eradication of mosquito nests (PSN) with 3M PLUS. It is important to make 3M PLUS efforts towards larva density and the incidence of DHF to determine the extent of the effectiveness of 3M PLUS control on larva density and the incidence of dengue. This literature review aims to analyze 3M PLUS (mosquito breeding place control) efforts on larva density and the incidence of dengue based on the research articles reviewed. The method used is literature review. In the literature review the author uses articles sourced from the Google Schoolar data base. Inclusion of the dependent variable incidence of dengue hemorrhagic fever and larvae density, independent variables of control efforts with 3M plus, indexed journals and ISSN, articles published in 2010 - 2020 and found 5 articles that can be reviewed based on these requirements. The results of the literature review with bivariate analysis of the five articles that did not have a relationship between 3M PLUS behavior and the incidence of dengue fever were 40%, there was a relationship between knowledge, attitudes, actions and the presence of larvae by 20%, there was a difference in the presence of larvae between pilot and non-pilot villages. 20%, and there is a relationship between knowledge, attitudes, education and prevention of DHF by 20%. The conclusion from this literature review is that although there is no direct relationship between 3M PLUS behavior and the incidence of DHF, 3M plus has a relationship in reducing the population of dengue vector larvae. Several other factors also influence the incidence of dengue in an area. However, 3M plus remains an important recommendation to reduce the risk of dengue transmission in an area.
