Abstract

Regional Regulation No. 09 of 2011, Boyolali Regency concerning the Spatial Planning of Boyolali Regency in 2011-2031. One of them is about industrial estate planning large, medium and small industries. The problem that is happening right now in Boyolali Regency is that several industries that require development without regard to land capability are also not in accordance with the Regional Spatial Plan (RTRW), so it needs to be adjusted accordingly. This study aims to (1) determine the location of large industries in Boyolali Regency, and (2) understand the suitability of large industries with RTRW in Boyolali Regency. This research method is a survey. Sampling was done using a purposive method. The results of this study are (1) The existing large industries, only spread in 8 Sub districts, namely Ampel, Banyudono, Mojosongo, Sambi, Klego, Nogosari, Teras, Sawit, and Ngemplak. The distribution pattern is a uniform (dispersed) distribution pattern with an average value of 5.49, and (2) the suitability of the existing large industrial locations with the Boyolali Regency Spatial Plan (RTRW) that is suitable and not appropriate. Categories according to RTRW are 26 industrial locations or 74% of the total large industries in Boyolali Regency. Meanwhile, there are 9 industrial locations that do not comply with the RTRW or 26% of the total large industries.
