Abstract
Traffic accidents occur due to errors road design and human factors. The most influential factor is human error. To avoid traffic accidents, it is important to apply safety riding habits.Safety riding is a procedure for safe driving in accordance with traffic regulations. The purpose of this literature review is factors in safety riding behavior that can lead to accidents for online motorcycle taxi riders. Factors that can affect safety riding are knowledge, age, driving period, vehicle condition, completeness equipment when driving. Safety riding is important to be done by online motorcycle taxi drivers because it is a job that is always on the road so there is a high risk of having an accident. This research is a literature review study. with a review method or summarize empirical or theoretical literature to provide a more comprehensive understanding of occupational safety problems, with the stages of problem identification, searching the literature, processing and presentation. The inclusion criteria in this literature review are in the form of research variables in accordance with those to be reviewed, the research method uses observational with a cross-sectional or quantitative approach with observational Product Moment correlation and research literature in Indonesian or English. The exclusion criteria are in the form of literature that has been published for more than 10 years (before 2010) and the research literature cannot be accessed completely. Literature are searched through electronic databases in google scholar, research gate, academiaedu, and sciencedirect. Obtained 5 articles that are suitable, with variables of safety riding and traffic accidents on online motorcycle taxi riders. The conclusion from this literature review is that the safety riding factor associated with accidents is a variable of knowledge about safety riding (p-value 0,000), riding behavior (p-value 0,000), vehicle condition (p-value 0,000) completeness of riding equpment (p-value. value 0,000) and safe riding behavior (p-value 0,005 and 0.006).
