Abstract
The purpose of this study is to describe a form of subjectivity of the patient’s parents through their experience interacting with the pediatrician. Research paradigm used in this research is qualitative. The selected samples in this research are the parents who’ve been to pediatricians and have educational background Bachelor’s (S1) and master’s degree (S2). The sampling technique used was purposive sampling and snowball. Data collection research done by doing in-depth interviews. The technique of the validity of the data used is triangulation researchers. Data analysis techniques used are qualitative content analysis. The results showed that most of the informants stated resistance. The informant stated their subjectivity through different ways, namely by not following the advice of the doctor, stating the refusal directly (give the argument), and switch to another doctor. Although most informants stated resistance, but some informants just show that they are not resistant, and are less likely to receive treatment given by the doctors.
